About Friendship Circle

The Ari Kraut Friendship Circle is a non-profit organization that serves children with special needs and their families through a wide range of educational, social and recreational programs. At the heart of the organization is a dedicated group of more than 100 teenage volunteers who give freely of their time, devotion and unconditional love and support.

Friendship Circle's programs include home visits, winter and summer day camps, life-skills building, sibling support and much more. We also offer valuable support and relief to families facing the many challenges of raising a child with special needs.

Walk4Friends is an annual 3k walk that raises crucial funds and community awareness for The Friendship Circle- a nonprofit organization for individuals with special needs.

Walk4Friends begins with an inspirational opening ceremony followed by a 1 mile walk. Upon reaching the finish line, walkers will enjoy a post-walk celebration with entertainment, activities, food and much more..

More than 1,500 people are expected to join in the fifth annual Walk4Friends on Sunday, April 28th, 2013. The event is sponsored by the Friendship Circle of Central Jersey, a non-profit organization which provides programming for children with special needs and their families.

Walk4friends is an annual vehicle for volunteers, families and friends of Friendship Circle to show their appreciation and support through an exciting fundraising opportunity. This fun-filled event is attended by a broad cross-section of people who come together to demonstrate their solidarity and support.
